The wine vats of Château Minuty

Your visit to Château Minuty can be followed by a tasting of the estate's wines. On this occasion, you will discover wines with fruit aromas subtly mixed with iodine.

It is possible to visit the private chapel freely with documentation available. This small building, situated above the vineyards, has a unique romantic charm. The Cuvée de l'Oratoire was created in its honour.

The vineyard and the wine

Cellar of Château Minuty

The vineyard of the castle is exposed south-east with the influx of the sea. It benefits from a temperate maritime climate. Minuty is one of the last Côtes de Provence estates where the grapes are harvested by hand.

The traditional cultivation of the grape varieties is based on the mechanical working of the soil and excludes herbicides and pesticides. It combines unique know-how and cutting-edge technology, and guarantees its quality.

The great Minuty rosés are made from tibouren and grenache, a typically Provencal grape variety. The whites are made from rolle and the reds from syrah and mourvèdre.

There are several ranges of wines at Minuty. The Château Minuty range includes 4 emblematic vintages: 281, Rose et Or, Blanc et Or, Rouge et Or. Then the branded wines: Minuty Prestige and Minuty M.

Minuty wines are a true combination of freshness and fruit. This concentrate of Provence offers an intensity of flavours enclosed in an emblematic bottle.

A family history

Château Minuty is also the story of the Matton-Farnet family. Gabriel Farnet acquired the estate in 1936 with the aim of modernising it. He replanted the entire estate so that the château could regain all its splendour after the Second World War.

A few years later, Château Minuty was classified as a Côtes de Provence growth among 23 properties.

The exterior of Château Minuty

In 1960, Gabriel's daughter and her husband took over the château. They replanted the traditional Provencal grape varieties: Tibouren, Rolle and Grenache.

The estate has been taken over by three different generations and is now part of the most prestigious tables on the Côte d'Azur. Minuty wines are known throughout France and the world. Minuty is present in more than 100 different countries, imposing its spirit and its art of living.

The reputation of Château Minuty has only increased over the years, and has become a reference.
