Why "French Riviera"?
The French Riviera is the English equivalent of the Côte d'Azur, a name popularized in the 19th century by British and Russian aristocrats who came here for the winter.
Today, the name evokes a glamorous coastline of Mediterranean landscapes, palaces and mythical seaside resorts. That's why it's called the French Riviera Pass, because it brings together all the great things to do on the Côte d'Azur!
