The Museum of the Navy Troops

This place of memory and history is dedicated to the Troupes de Marine, a unit of the French army specialized in amphibious operations and overseas missions.
Founded in 1921, the museum is located in Fréjus in the Boyer barracks, a former headquarters of the Troupes de la Marine.

Discover a rich collection of objects and archives relating to the history of the Troupes de Marine from their creation in 1622 to the present day.
You can see: uniforms, weapons, equipment, models, paintings, photographs and historical documents...

Activities to do

The activities offered at the museum are numerous and varied.
