History of the Naval Museum of Monaco

Professor Claude Pallanca dreamed of sailing and making model ships. During his military service, he developed a passion for the sea and ships.

Over time, the professor built up an extraordinary collection. A collection that came to fruition in 1993 thanks to the help of H.S.H. Prince Rainier III of Monaco, the Monegasque Administration and His Excellency Mr Bernard Fautrier. This collection was born in the Naval Museum of Monaco.
