The tattooed Santo Sospir villa
The villa owes its name to a legendary episode in which Jean Cocteau was invited to stay at the house and drew sketches on the formerly white walls. He began by drawing charcoal over the fireplace in the living room.
The owners were so impressed that they asked Cocteau to decorate the entire villa. It was at this point that the "tattoo" impression was born.
