In summer, visit the Côte d'Azur and refresh yourself

Miles of coastline and beaches...

We're not going to rewrite the classic story about the number of days of sunshine here on the coast and the sweetness of summer life, ... although, in fact, we can't resist: the Côte d'Azur is 300 days of sunshine a year!
You really have to look hard to find rain. So let's get straight to the heart of the matter, as there's so much to say and do during the summer season...
Let's start with the beaches, because the Riviera is all about the sea and lounging. Visit Nicethere are no fewer than 15 private and 20 public beaches! Five beaches have been awarded the "no-smoking beach" label with the support of the Ligue contre le Cancer: Centenaire, Voilier, Bains Militaires, Lenval and Sainte Hélène. All private beaches offer (from April to October) mattresses, umbrellas, cabins and showers. Each has a restaurant overlooking the sea.
If you're afraid of the crowds - a good idea that you don't always think of - go for a swim at the little Afrique de Beaulieu-sur-Mer. It's a wild and quiet beach, with a quiet area reserved for dogs.
Owners who are aware of the need to live peacefully together have well-trained dogs and pick up their litter: not always the case for people without pets after all! And above all, there are far fewer people and no "little children" to pee on your things while you're bathing! ahahah!

Here are some links to private beach sites, and don't forget to book in summer!
Juan les Pins : La petite plage
Cap d'Ail : La Mala
Mandelieu : La PLage de l' aiguille
Don't forget your sunscreen for summer!

Good plans for the summer

If you're really too hot, water parks are for you: Aquasplash , Aqualand fréjus will cool you down and shake your hair. Sensations guaranteed with Side Winder, the park's most vertical 10-metre drop. Quite simply, if you start screaming like me, watch out for your neighbors' eardrums. It's a truly impressive fall into the void!
In the same vein, but also for your little ones (from age 2), Antibes Landthe largest amusement park on the Côte d'Azur, where you can have a great day out. If you feel like it, a 60-meter-high jump is also on the program! There's also Azur Park, where you can try your hand at 18-hole golf in a prehistoric animal setting, while your children enjoy themselves.
If you're looking for more shade this time, for budding cavers, you can experience an unusual adventure 60 meters underground with the Souterroscope departing from Grasse or the grotte de St Cézaire, where you can visit several hundred meters of galleries filled with concretions, each more impressive than the last. 15° Celsius underground in the middle of summer is ideal!
Or escape to higher altitudes, leaving the coast behind and plunging right into the heart of fascinating wilderness: the Monts d'Azur Reserve or La Colmiane in the Mercantour National Park are ideal places to observe animals in their natural habitat.

Summer on the Côte d'Azur is the time to be full of activities. This is the season when all the leisure activities, events and activities .... are open. The paradise for you to have fun in the evening as well as during the day!
