The history of the Canneseries
"Created in 2018 by an independent association chaired by Fleur Pellerin, the CANNESERIES festival aims to promote and embody series from around the world, to become the voice of this new popular and ultra-creative art form.
Drawing its energy from the very heart of the world-renowned city of Cannes, the festival takes place in parallel with MIPTV (international television programme market) and MIPCOM this season, the must-attend events for professionals.
CANNESERIES promotes the values of excellence and diversity, but always in a cool, pop and glamorous spirit.
Its aim is to bring together the best of the world of series, to bring out the talents of tomorrow, and to create an unmissable international competition for series of all genres and formats.
