Throughout the summer, enjoy the exhibitions on Picasso at the Magnelli Museum.

The Picasso Exhibition pays tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Cubist artist's death.

During the weekend of 06 and 07 May 2023, a festive celebration will take place.
On the program, attend :
- the inauguration of the exhibition "Forms and Metamorphoses
- a children's show
- a Flamenco ballet
- a musical parade
- a horse show and recorte
- a video-mapping

From May 6 to October 30, the Magnelli Museum hosts the Picasso exhibition "Forms and Metamorphoses".
From June 24 to September 25, find the exhibition "Picasso and goldsmithing".

From May 06 to October 30 > Picasso Exhibition

At Magnelli Museum of Vallauris takes place the exhibition Picasso "Forms and metamorphoses: the ceramic creation".
The Picasso exhibition traces the work of the artist and pays tribute to him.
In this workshop, he produced between 3500 and 4000 ceramic pieces, experimenting with clay and colors.
In 1946, Pablo Picasso collaborated with the founders of the Madoura workshop, Suzanne and Georges Ramié.
In Vallauris, temple of pottery, Picasso devoted himself to the various techniques of this art.

The inauguration of the Picasso exhibition will take place on May 06, 2023.
An opening concert is organized by the Philharmonic of Antibes and the harmony of Vallauris.

This May 06, at the hall Le Minotaure, the schools of Vallauris Golfe-Juan celebrate the artist Picasso and his art:

- The children of the municipal school of music and dance, offer a performance of singing and dance jazz, contemporary and classical.
- The students of the Picasso school stage the work of the poets who worked with the artist, through slam and poetry.

The city organizes a musical and artistic parade from the square Nabonnand to the beach Pablo Picasso to celebrate the new name of the beach of the Sun.

June 24 to October 25 > Picasso Exhibition

The exhibition "Picasso and Goldsmithing" takes place from June 24 to October 25 at the Magnelli Museum.
Trace the collaboration between Pablo Picasso and the goldsmith François Hugo.
From 1956 to 1961, Picasso realized with the great grandson of Victor Hugo creations in gold and silver:
- compotiers
- dishes
- jewelry ...

Discover how Picasso transposed goldsmithing to the art of ceramics.
The exhibition is accompanied by a series of photographs and archival documents from the period.
