Jazz Exhibition
This year, 2024, two exceptional exhibitions await you at the Palais des Congrès.
They celebrate both visual art and musical heritage, offering an immersive experience for jazz enthusiasts.
Hervé Rubeaud, Painter:
Discover the vibrant works of this artist whose canvases capture the energy and emotion of jazz through dynamic colors and shapes.
Drumsville! :
Dive into the fascinating history of drumming with this historic exhibition, originally presented in 2018 at the New Orleans Jazz Museum.
It traces the evolution of the drum and the musical traditions of New Orleans since the 18th century, offering a unique look at the roots of jazz.
These exhibitions are an invitation to explore the cultural and artistic richness that makes Jazz à Juan so much more than just a festival, but a living celebration of jazz in all its forms.
Located on the second floor of the Palais des Congrès, the Jazz Expo runs all summer long.
Admission is free, from 9am to 7pm.
The Marching Band's
In early July, musical parades called Marching Bands are organized.
In the streets of Antibes and Juan-les-Pins, you'll find them every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.
6 groups of musicians take to the streets to set the mood.
Relive Jazz History in the Streets of Antibes and Juan-les-Pins
Since long before the first edition of "Jazz à Juan", the vibrant tradition of jazz has taken over the streets of Antibes and Juan-les-Pins.
Emblematic images, such as those of Sidney Bechet's wedding in 1951, bear witness to this.
Once again this year, Jazz à Juan pays tribute to this rich history by giving a place of honor to Marching Bands throughout the summer.
