What is the Roc d'Azur event?

Established in 1984, Roc d'azur has become the benchmark event for mountain biking in France and Europe. Every year, 20,000 participants and 150,000 visitors gather at the Base Nature in Fréjus. Whether you want to measure yourself against other enthusiasts, discover what's new in the world of mountain biking, or just have a good time, the Roc d'Azur is a must.

Roc d'Azur features mountain biking in 7 different offers for professionals and amateurs alike:

• Races: 56 km mountain bike race 
• Hiking: mountain bike race with positive and negative altitude difference 
• Gravel: mountain bike race on gravel 
• Electric: electric mountain bike race 
• Triathlon: 1.5 km swim, 23 km mountain bike and 11 km run.

Within each offer a multitude of races are available to suit the level and age of the competitors:

With over 300 exhibitors, the free Roc d'Azur trade show opens its doors for 4 days.

FAMILY TRAIL HIKE

The family trail run is an easy trail run for the whole family.

Distance: 5.5 km with 160 m ascent.

Activities for children from 2 to 14 years old

The Roc Azur organizes 3 race formats for children from 2 to 14 years old.

All you have to do is choose between fun races on a draisienne, on foot or on a mountain bike.

At the end of the events, the participants are rewarded.

KID ROC DRAISIENNE between 2 and 4 years

The Kid Roc Draisienne is the ideal race for your budding cyclists to exercise safely.

Distance: 150 meters
Location: animation area with French cycling instructors.

PEDESTRIAN HIKE from 9 years old

The Rando Pédestre is one of the novelties of Roc d'Azur in 2023. Take part in a pedestrian hike composed of 4 different courses.

Distances:
- 22 km of hiking and 341 meters of positive elevation gain

- 13 km of hiking with 351 meters of elevation gain

- 8 km of hiking with 184 meters of elevation gain

- 5 km of hiking with 121 meters of elevation gain

Kid Roc Ruelles is a relay race on winding terrain in teams of 2 with a unique night show.

ALTITUDE HIKING from 15 years old

Roc d'Azur offers two possibilities for the Rando Altitude. Choose a hike or an electric bike ride. Reach the top of Mont Fréjus to admire the exceptional Mediterranean landscapes.

CANYON RANDO GRAVEL ESTEREL from 15 years old

Climb to the top with Roc d'Azur to contemplate the coastal massif and its red rocks. Canyon Rando Gravel Esterel is a gravel race with two different courses.

- 70 km of hiking and 1251 meters of positive altitude difference.

Roc d'Azur offers you a choice of four different hikes. On foot or by electric bike, the trails are simple and wide to allow you to enjoy the panoramic view.

- By car: Access via the A8 freeway, exit Fréjus Saint Raphaël or Route Nationale 7 and 98

To participate in this multi-race event, register on the Roc d'Azur website. Create your account and fill in the registration form. Registration will close the day before each race at 5pm.
