Port of Nice Festival
Port of Nice Festival
On Saturday 8th June, the annual meeting to celebrate the port of Nice took place. So I went there with my little family.
For young parents, it was a real treat: there were plenty of free games to keep our little ones entertained!
Parents can relax on deckchairs while sipping a drink. Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health!
For gourmets, there's something for everyone. In addition to all the restaurants around the Port, L'Escale, le Bistrot du Port, le Bombay Palace , la Barque bleue, Les pêcheurs ...
Small tents were set up where you could order marinated melon, sea bream, pizza, French fries, pan bagnas, pissaladières... something for everyone!

Castle Hill, its port
A very convivial moment, when everyone chooses their plate and sits down on the large tables provided.
Throughout the evening we were treated to live music. Two orchestras were set up at either end of the harbor. It was great because one featured artists from Nice, and the second more well-known variety acts.
The animations
Once again, all ages mingled for an evening. As we strolled around the Port of Nice, we could admire the little boats that took the people of Nice out for a stroll.
We also witnessed a parade of giant jellyfish! To round off the ceremony in style, we admired the 15-minute fireworks display.
Many of us were there, and for a moment, eyes sparkled and time stood still.
