THE HISTORY OF THE FESTIVAL

Since 1998, the Nuits du Sud festival has been thrilling the heart of the city of Venice.
Every summer, the Place du Grand Jardin in Vence is transformed into an open-air concert venue.
The famous square is lined with restaurants, bars and ice-cream parlors. It's the perfect setting for a festive, convivial evening.
Since its inception, the festival has always sought to showcase music from all horizons. And it's this uniqueness that makes the festival such a success.

THE FESTIVAL

Every year until 2023, the Nuits du Sud come back with a unique program.
During two weeks, you could find unique evenings where you were sure to have a good time!
During the whole month of July, 7 exceptional evenings were waiting for you on the place du Grand Jardin.
This emblematic place in Vence, has seen all the big names of the musical scene.
Its friendly and festive atmosphere was waiting for you!

SOUTHERN NIGHTS TALENT CONTEST

The Festival also supports the local scene through its "Talents Nuits du Sud" competition. The competition was launched in 2008, and is designed to help the general public discover up-and-coming artists. It also aims to support local cultural and creative development in Vence.
In 2022, the selected Talents had the opportunity to perform at the opening of the concert evenings.
