MANDELIEU-LA-NAPOULE
Nature and well-being

The city is known for its beautiful sandy beaches and marina, which attract many visitors each year.
The city also has a regional nature park, the regional nature park of the Préalpes d'Azur, which offers many opportunities for hiking and outdoor activities.

Mandelieu-la Napoule, nature in the heart of the city, crossed by the navigable river Siagne. Overlooked by the Massif de l'Estérel, the Massif du Tanneron and the Mont San Peyre which are reflected in the Gulf of La Napoule.

Want to discover nature in the heart of the city?

The Mount San Peyre overlooks the district of La Napoule and offers a superb walk for nature lovers.
A pedestrian path crosses the typical vegetation of the local scrubland, to reach at the top the vestiges of the ancient fortress, the orientation table, the marked path for initiation to running and especially the breathtaking panoramic view.
The banks of the Siagne, a real place of peace and quiet, are a public space stretching from the city center to the coast. They are 3 km long and are regularly used by walkers, joggers and families, who live together with the fauna and flora in a haven of nature and peace. There are facilities for children and athletes. The vegetation is dense with more than 2000 trees and shrubs of about fifty different species.
The customs path will lead you from the port of La Napoule to the port of La Rague. It is very easily accessible to nature lovers and walkers. The pathway allows the discovery of the castle's arcades, the famous "rocher des pendus" and the surrounding cliffs. A magnificent view of the red rocks of the Estérel and the Lérins islands accompanies you along this escapade in a picturesque environment.
