A day in Eze!
A day in Eze-Village
A medieval village
The entrance to the medieval village is only five minutes from the bus stop.
From the entrance, "La Poterne" bears the traces of the various assaults endured over the centuries.
It was the Moors, then the Saracens and finally the troops of Louis XIV at the beginning of the 18th century who, by destroying the castle, gave the village its particular silhouette.
Its restaurants, shops and artists
In Eze, stroll along the narrow streets, let yourself be drawn in at the turn of an arched door, by a small square shaded by a false pepper tree or by the sound of a fountain.
The old seigneurial and peasant houses are now home to boutiques, artists' studios and craftsmen's workshops, where they work with olive wood, leather, silk...
The Village is also a popular stop for gourmets, with its gastronomic restaurants and inns serving Mediterranean specialties.
Its exotic garden
The narrow streets follow the contours of the rock to the top of the village.
There, in the ruins of the castle, you'll find the exotic garden.
Hundreds of plants - cacti, agaves, aloes, tree ferns, papyrus, etc. - grow 429m above the Mediterranean.
The view extends as far as Saint-Tropez, and Corsica is visible on a clear day.

Its beaches and hikes
The most courageous or nature lovers will extend their visit by a hike to the beaches of Eze Bord de Mer or access the park of La Revère on the Grande Corniche at an altitude of over 700m.
From there, the 360° view leads to Italy and the Alps overlooking the French and Italian Riviera.
