Visit the gardens of the International Perfumery Museum: "A garden of 1001 scents".
Touch, feel, listen, contemplate...
Nestling at the foot of the olive and cypress hills, this conservatory of fragrant plants covering almost 3 hectares is a real bucolic walk to discover the emblematic flowers that have made the reputation of the Pays de Grasse. May rose, jasmine, tuberose, lavender, rose geranium, orange tree... you will discover scented plants, sources of raw materials for perfumery which, still today, inspire the greatest perfumers.
The gardens consist of 2 parts, separated by a canal. The first part offers an interactive and multi-sensory olfactory trail. Let yourself be guided and discover the plants arranged according to their olfactory notes: citrus, floral, woody, spicy, fruity, musky... The second part is a reproduction of the Grasse countryside and its fields of flowers. Thus, in April, the fields are covered with flowers of Iris, goddess of the rainbow. In May, it is the Centifolia rose that blooms discreetly. In August, jasmine, the fetish flower of Coco Chanel. In September, it is the majestic Tuberose with its theatrical scent, which embalms the gardens.
Surely, you will spend an unforgettable moment to share with family or friends, while enjoying the shady pergolas, water fountains, relaxation and idleness areas!
