The unmissable lakeside town of Port Grimaud

In 2016, the lakeside resort of Port Grimaud celebrated its 50th anniversary. A unique site and a must-see stopover, this ambitious project was born in 1964 in the mind of architect François Spoerry.
In 2002, it was awarded the title of "Patrimoine du XXe siècle" (20th Century Heritage Site).
A veritable rewriting of marine space, its concept is that of a village where land and sea intermingle.
Made up of Provencal-style houses with Mediterranean influences, Port Grimaud symbolizes a sailor's dream come true.

Each house has its own mooring ring, criss-crossing canals, controlled traffic... A little jewel not to be missed!

Its beaches and coves

Let's linger for a moment... From Port Grimaud to Pointe Alègre, a number of beaches and coves line the coast.
There are no fewer than 8 of them, all easily accessible and facing the village of Saint-Tropez.
Long stretches of fine sand, the beaches of Port Grimaud are ideal for water sports activities with family or friends!

Further on, towards Sainte-Maxime, you'll find the beach at Saint-Pons-les Mûres.
The Gros Pin, Vieux Moulin and Beauvallon beaches are more discreet.

Whatever the season, Guerrevieille beach is a radiant sight at sunrise.
In winter, it's a popular spot for windsurfers (beginners please!).
Last but not least, Plage des Cigales unveils its atypical setting: a lighthouse, a picturesque bridge, an original décor...
