The unmissable lakeside town of Port Grimaud
In 2016, the lakeside city of Port Grimaud celebrated its 50th anniversary. A unique place, an unmissable stage, this ambitious project was born in 1964 in the mind of architect François Spoerry.
This architectural success became a "20th Century Heritage" in 2002.
A true rewriting of the marine space, its concept is that of a village where the land and the sea intermingle.
Made up of Provencal-style houses but also with Mediterranean influences, Port Grimaud symbolizes a sailor's dream come true.
Each house has its own mooring ring, criss-crossing canals, controlled traffic... A little jewel not to be missed!

Its beaches and coves
Let's linger for a moment... From Port Grimaud to Pointe Alègre, a number of beaches or creeks line the coast.
There are no less than 8 of them, they are all very accessible and face the village of Saint-Tropez.
Long strips of fine sand, the beaches of Port Grimaud are ideal for water sports activities with family or friends!
Further on, going towards Sainte-Maxime, you will find, in the same spirit, the beach of Saint-Pons-les-Mûres.
The beaches of Gros Pin, Vieux Moulin and Beauvallon are more discreet.
The beach of Guerrevieille offers, in any season, a radiant picture at sunrise.
In winter, it is a spot of windsurfing recognized by the amateurs of this discipline (beginners abstain!).
Finally, the Cigales beach reveals its atypical setting: a lighthouse, a picturesque bridge, an original decor...
